What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are used for the site to work, to remember your choices, and — with your consent — for analytics. We follow the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR.
Cookies we use
Required for the site to work — sign-in session, cookie consent state, security. Always on, no consent required.
Stored in your browser as: yb_consent_v2 (localStorage, your consent choice, kept up to 12 months), yb_coach_* (AI Coach daily fair-use counter, required to enforce usage limits) and our auth tokens (sb-*-auth-token) when you sign in.
Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-TJSQQ83D6K) — helps us understand which pages are useful. IP addresses are anonymised and we run in Google Consent Mode v2, so nothing is stored until you accept. If you later withdraw consent, these cookies are cleared automatically.
Cookies: _ga (up to 2 years), _ga_TJSQQ83D6K (up to 2 years), _gid (24 h).
Remembers non-essential preferences in your browser's localStorage — dismissed notices and newsletter prompts, and your last viewed tickers. Only with consent.
We do not set marketing cookies ourselves. When you click an affiliate link (e.g. TradingView, eToro), the partner may set their own cookies on their domain so they can attribute your visit and pay us a commission — this only happens after you click through, and is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies. We do not receive any personal data about you from these partners.
In addition, we use a lightweight IP-based country lookup (via ipapi.co, country code only, no IP stored on our side) to decide whether affiliate placements can legally be shown in your country. This is a regulatory requirement and is treated as strictly necessary.
Change your choices
You can change or withdraw consent at any time. It takes effect immediately.
Browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking necessary cookies will prevent sign-in from working.
